If you are looking for people to go with, join our Discord and ask around in our Meetup Discussion channel; we provide the tools for anyone to create meetups. You can pick one, or you can chain places together to create a more comprehensive fun filled event for your friends.
We don't list restaurants or breweries because, quite frankly, they are everywhere in Rochester. Instead, we encourage you to ask in our Food channel for recommendations. This way you can add some context such as a particular atmosphere or allergens to be considerate of.
At the bottom of the page we list other group activities that are held at local breweries, check out the breweries website for the most current dates and times for their events.
If you're looking for events and ideas, we strongly encourage you to follow local pages and businesses on Facebook. You can follow the businesses below and the pages from the Local Community. When you navigate to the events tab in Facebook you'll see what's going on. You can also search Facebook for groups around your interests and any events the group members create will show up as well.
If any events you come across looks fun, you are encouraged to share those events to the Discord as well!
This fun business offers a unique experience where patrons can smash glass, ceramics, and even electronics. You can bring your own items for a reduced price but check with the business first, personal electronics are not allowed and must be bought from The Mess Hall.

Challenge each other to a friendly competition of darts but with axes. Some of the common dartboard games exist in the Axe Throwing sport but there are also others you can learn and play!
You reserve a lane for an hour but you also have the option of adding on an "all you can play" arcade session as an add-on.

Want to feel like a ninja? Look no further! AirInsanity offers various activities inside it's 32,000sqft facility. Not only does it have 5,000sqft of continuous trampolines but it also has warped walls, a battle beam, air bag, trampoline dodgeball, basketball hoops to practice your dunks, an obstacle course, a bouldering wall, and even a laser maze.

One of the most popular parks in Rochester. You can hike the miles of trails, both paved and dirt, attend classes on bird watching, and even book a tour of the caves in the quarry and learn about the history of the quarry before it was a park. There's also a phenomenal nature center at the main parking lot for the park.
Another decently sized park in the area has a moderate trail system that's unpaved. Also has an archery range close to the parking lot.
Whitewater is home to one of the closest state parks to the Rochester area. Whitewater boasts incredible trails and plenty of camping. Additionally, Whitewater has an amazing overlook at Eagle Point.
Chester Woods is a free county park to the East of Rochester. Offering trails, kayaking, beaches, picnic shelters for groups, and camping.
A free Zoo just North of Byron that is attached to a free county park with miles of trails. You can hike from the park to the zoo or park at the zoo.
These are reserves that have no established trail system nor are they regularly maintained. Dogs are not allowed and visitors need to adhere to "leave no trace" practices. These areas are great for bird watching and other nature oriented activities, such as an unguided painting of a canvas, and picnic.
A smaller park within Rochester, but it also has an overlook that displays Rochester's Skyline.
Multiple breweries around town that host trivia nights. These are usually general trivia with no theme but occasionally there are themed trivia nights. Look up your favorite breweries to see what's on their event calendar!
Breweries have nightly activities and a couple of them have Karaoke. Get your requests in early and head over to grab a seat.
There are multiple ranges in the area, some offer rentals. You can reserve a lane and test your accuracy against each other.
While movies may be an interaction-less experience, there's the option to go to a dinner or more conversation oriented outing afterwards to talk about the movie.
There are two escape rooms in Rochester with multiple themes. Check back every so often for different themes. Escape rooms are better with a larger group but if you want a stronger challenge you can certainly use a smaller team.
